1. Purpose
This document explains how YY Models MGMT handles rights in commissioned materials, virtual models and AI Twins, and how artificial intelligence is used in commercial visual production.
It applies to projects involving generative AI tools, virtual models, authorized digital twins of real models, AI-assisted retouching, synthetic environments, images, video and other AI-created or AI-modified materials.
2. Final Deliverables and Client Usage Rights
Unless a project agreement expressly states otherwise, the client receives the right to use only the approved final deliverables within the agreed license scope: purpose, media, territory and term.
- Organic website and social-media use may be included in a base package when expressly stated.
- Paid media, marketplaces, print, OOH, wider territories, longer terms, exclusivity and third-party sublicensing are agreed separately.
- Rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
- Source files and working versions are not treated as final deliverables unless expressly agreed.
3. What Remains with YY Models MGMT
Unless expressly transferred in writing, the client does not receive YY Models MGMT's internal production assets and know-how, including:
- prompts, negative prompts, generation scripts and internal instructions;
- workflows, node graphs, presets, seeds, templates and libraries;
- trained weights, LoRAs, Elements, identity systems and reference libraries;
- technical tests, intermediate generations, rejected outputs and internal QA materials;
- scripts, code, automations and other production-pipeline components.
These materials may include proprietary YY Models MGMT know-how and third-party components used under their respective licenses and platform terms.
4. Virtual Models
A virtual model is a synthetic digital persona created for commercial visual content. Its appearance does not imply that a real person is depicted or personally endorses the advertised product.
The client receives rights to the specific approved images and videos within the agreed license. The right to independently generate new content with the model, obtain model weights, training materials or create derivative models is not granted automatically and requires a separate written agreement.
5. AI Twins and the Likeness of Real Models
An AI Twin is created and used only where there is a lawful basis to use the real person's likeness and the scope of digital manipulation has been agreed.
Commercial AI Twin terms may cover:
- term and territory;
- product and brand categories;
- organic media, paid advertising, e-commerce, print and OOH;
- permitted changes to appearance, wardrobe, pose, voice and environment;
- exclusivity and competitor restrictions;
- approval workflow and end-of-license handling.
Use of a person's image is regulated, among other rules, by Article 152.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. YY Models MGMT uses explicit written rights clearance for AI Twin projects even where statutory exceptions may exist.
6. Client Materials and Third-Party Rights
By supplying logos, packaging designs, photographs, video, product images, references, fonts, music, trademarks or other materials, the client confirms that it has the rights and permissions necessary to use those materials for the project.
If a reference contains an identifiable person, copyrighted work, trademark or other protected subject matter, it is treated as creative direction only to the extent permitted by law and the agreed brief. YY Models MGMT may decline requests to reproduce protected material or a real person's identity without proper authorization.
7. Copyright and Intellectual Property
The legal status of a particular output can depend on the level of human creative contribution, the source materials, the project agreement and the terms of the AI tools used. YY Models MGMT therefore does not make a blanket representation that every automatically generated file is, by itself, a separately copyright-protected work.
To the extent intellectual property rights arise and are owned by YY Models MGMT or lawfully engaged rightsholders, the client's use is governed by the project agreement and the license granted. Authors' non-transferable moral rights, where applicable, remain protected by law.
8. Responsible AI Use
YY Models MGMT does not use AI production for unlawful impersonation, deceptive representation of a real person's participation, infringement of intellectual property, unlawful personal-data processing or the creation of content prohibited by law.
- No commercial AI Twin of a real person without the required authorization.
- No presentation of a virtual model as a real person where the context requires disclosure of its synthetic nature.
- No reuse of client materials beyond the production purpose without a separate lawful basis.
- No transfer of internal model weights, workflows or source production systems unless separately agreed.
- Where creative direction conflicts with third-party rights, a lawful alternative takes priority.
9. AI Disclosure and the 2026–2027 Russian Framework
Federal Law No. 243-FZ of 26 July 2026 on support for the development of artificial intelligence technologies entered into force on 1 September 2026. Certain provisions, including Articles 9 and 10 concerning AI-content notices and intellectual-property requirements for large foundation AI models, take effect on 1 March 2027.
YY Models MGMT applies AI-origin disclosure or labeling where required by applicable law, platform rules, client agreement or the nature of the project, and updates its workflow as new requirements enter into force.
10. Approval and Subsequent Use
The client approves final deliverables before publication and communicates the intended media channels. If the client later modifies the work, expands the territory or term, adds paid-media channels or transfers the materials to third parties, the client should confirm that such use is covered by the agreed license.
YY Models MGMT is responsible for the agreed production scope, but cannot be responsible for subsequent use by the client outside the agreed terms.
